Answer Text: Forgiveness of the sinful woman.-Jesus had been invited by a Pharisee to a dinner. The name of the Pharisee was Simon.-While at one table, a sinful woman came with a flask of alabaster oil. -She stood at Jesus’ feet weeping and wetting his legs with tears.-She used her hair to wipe the feet of Jesus.-She kissed the feet of Jesus.-The Pharisee who had invited Jesus questioned himself if Jesus was really God’s prophet because of the kind of woman who was wiping his feet.-Jesus knew the thoughts of Simon (Pharisee) and told him a parable of a certain creditor who had two debtors, one owed five hundred denarii and the other fifty. The two debtors could not pay hence they were forgiven both. Jesus asked Simon, between the two, who could love the creditor more. Simon answered the one who had high debt.-Jesus told Simon that the woman had showed much love since she entered his house even than him.-Jesus said to her that her many sins had been forgiven. -He also told the woman to go in peace because her faith saved her.
