Christian criteria for evaluating the use of leisure.
-Christian principles derived from human reason and experience, natural law, the Christian community and the bible evaluate the correct form of pleasure and what leisure activities to engage in.
-The following are some Christian criteria to evaluate use of leisure:
-Christians should engage in leisure activities which promote their respect and dignity.
-Christians should avoid leisure activities that may be harmful to others even if they are beneficial to them.
-Christians should choose leisure activities that enrich their knowledge of God.
-Christians should follow Jesus’ example by engaging in those activities that provide services to others.
-Christians should not engage in leisure activities that are harmful to the individual and put one’s life at risk.
-Christians should avoid leisure activities that lead to sin.
-Christians should engage in leisure activities that please God.
