Answer Text:
Volatile drugs
-These are drugs that make the consumer intoxicated, dizzy and have distorted speech.
-Their fumes are sniffed to get the desired effects.
-An example is glue sniffing which is a common sight among street people in most urban and rural centres in Kenya.
-The chemical elements of glue have intoxicating properties which give the user some kind of excitement.
-It is said that street boys and girls who sniff glue die before the age of seventeen.
-They possibly do this to cope with their dangerous and hopeless living conditions.
-They also do it to kill time and as a form of rebellion against their family and the society.
-No situation in life however difficult should make a young person indulge in drugs as a coping mechanism.
-Christians should not destroy their bodies and minds through drugs.
-The body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit and human beings are created in God’s image.
-Misusing our bodies implies destroying the image of God in us.
