Jane Atieno

A little about me.

I am a dedicated and patient primary school teacher with over 4 years of teaching experience. I hold a Primary Teacher Certificate from Asumbi Teachers Training College and have experience teaching learners in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. I specialise in English, Mathematics and Science under the Kenyan CBC/CBE curriculum. I help learners improve their reading, writing, spelling, numeracy, problem-solving and overall academic performance. My teaching approach is learner-centred, interactive and supportive. I prepare lessons according to each learner’s needs, use practical examples and engaging activities, and provide exercises to strengthen understanding. I am patient with learners who find certain concepts difficult and help them build confidence through step-by-step guidance and regular practice. My goal is to help every learner understand concepts clearly, improve their school performance and develop a positive attitude towards learning. I also support learners with homework, revision, exam preparation and foundational literacy and numeracy skills. I welcome the opportunity to work with parents and learners to achieve meaningful academic progress.
