Privacy & safeguarding.
We use information to arrange and deliver tuition, process payments, support families and protect the learning community.
Your family account.
Adults create accounts and manage learner profiles. Learner profiles use a first name and grade. A parent or authorised guardian must give consent before booking. Tutors see learners assigned to their lessons; other families cannot access your child's homework or individual progress updates.
Lessons and conversations.
Live lessons use Daily's video service, which processes connection and classroom information to deliver the call. Cameras are optional. Recording is disabled in this version. Attendance records use verified joining and leaving events.
Lesson discussions are visible to the tutor and parents enrolled in that lesson. Group discussions are shared with other enrolled families. Please keep home addresses, financial information and sensitive personal details out of these discussions.
Payments and service providers.
M-Pesa processes payment requests. TutorKE stores the transaction identifiers, amount, payment status and relevant contact details needed for reconciliation. Your M-Pesa PIN belongs only in the prompt on your phone.
Video, hosting and email providers may process information outside Kenya. TutorKE must put appropriate processing agreements and transfer safeguards in place for its service providers.
Access, correction and deletion.
You can ask our team to access or correct information, withdraw consent, or request deletion. Some transaction, safeguarding or legal records may need to be retained. Contact support to discuss your request and the applicable retention period.
A safe space to learn.
Tutors are reviewed before their profiles are published. Adults should supervise younger learners as appropriate. Report inappropriate conduct, unauthorised contact or other concerns to our team. Stop a lesson if you feel unsafe.

A partner link counts an aggregate click without storing an IP address or visitor identifier in the affiliate ledger. The count can include repeats and automated requests. The link alone does not set a referral cookie. If you allow it, a protected first-party cookie remembers the code for the stated window. It can prefill your registration form; you may remove or change the code before submitting.
The code submitted at registration links the new account to the partner for the stated conversion window. Partners see aggregate signup counts and reward and payout records, not learner names, parent contacts or private lessons. TutorKE keeps attribution and financial review records for administration and disputes. Contact support about your data or an incorrect attribution.
Removing the cookie does not erase an attribution or financial record already created.
