These rules apply alongside the platform terms and privacy notice. Only approved adult account holders may earn. Approval does not guarantee income or make a partner an employee.

Attribution and qualifying bookings

Referral links offer an optional, first-party cookie lasting up to 30 days. The last referral cookie a visitor explicitly accepts can prefill the registration code; the visitor may edit or remove that code. A code can also be entered directly. The code submitted when a new parent account is created fixes its attribution. Existing accounts cannot be reassigned.

The new parent must make their first verified, non-demo paid booking within 90 days of registration. Only one reward can be created per referred account. Later bookings, self-referrals (including accounts sharing the partner’s account or payout phone), the partner teaching the referred booking, invalid payments and cancelled or refunded bookings do not qualify. Separate accounts created to refer oneself or manipulate rewards are prohibited.

Reward basis, delivery and review

The current rate is 10% of TutorKE’s retained share: booking amount minus the tutor’s agreed net earnings. Tutor earnings are unchanged. The reward rate is fixed when a qualifying booking is reserved; the 14-day hold is fixed when payment is verified. All lessons must finish and be recorded as delivered before the hold begins. Approval is a separate review, not an automatic payment.

The current minimum payout request is KES 1,000. Payouts are reviewed and sent separately to the M-Pesa number submitted in your application, then recorded in your account. No automatic transfer or fixed payment turnaround is promised. Contact support to correct payment details before requesting a payout.

Refunds and conduct

Invalid, cancelled, refunded or fraudulent bookings can remove rewards, including after approval. A reversal after payment can leave a negative balance that offsets future earnings. Pending payout requests may be declined if the eligible balance changes. We retain review notes and transaction references for accountability.

Disclose your relationship close to promotional links, for example: “I may earn a referral reward if you book through this link, at no extra cost to you.” On websites, mark paid affiliate links rel="sponsored". Do not spam, impersonate TutorKE, promise results, use misleading reviews or collect children’s information. Ask before using brand assets or paid search ads that suggest you are Tutorke.

Programme changes

TutorKE can pause new referrals, change future rates and windows, or suspend partners for investigation. Existing booking reward-rate snapshots remain recorded; qualification and anti-fraud rules still apply. Questions or disputes can be raised through support.
