Answer Text:
Critical Thinking as a life skill:
Critical thinking demands that we explore the possibilities of doing a task in more than one way. It is expressing a person’s independent judgement after evaluating or analyzing a situation. For example;
-In examinations when answering questions that
demand expressions of different opinions.
-In challenging your friends when they do things that are against the accepted norms in the society.
-Refusing to be discouraged by life challenges.
Jesus used critical thinking throughout his life and ministry. He challenged the hypocrisy of the Pharisees
and taught people using everyday life experiences. Critical thinking is therefore an important skill in shaping our thinking and expressing our independent judgement on all issues that face us.
