Answer Text:
Humility as a Christian value that enhances a just society:
Humility is the acknowledgement of one’s qualities, abilities and inadequacies. It is also accepting oneself with his or her strength and weaknesses. A humble person is not proud or boastful of his or her achievements and uses
his or her qualities to serve others. Humble people are sensitive to the feelings of others and do not hurt them deliberately. Humility is one of the Christian values that is stressed in the Bible. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said, “Happy are those who are humble; they will receive what God has promised”. The humble are those who are ready to serve others,
those who show mercy and those who surrender themselves to God’s will. St Paul advised Christians that they should be modest and not think highly of themselves.
