Planting Drought Resistant Crops as a method of land Rehabilitation.
- Planting in Arid and Semi Arid Lands drought resistant and quick maturing crops which take advantage of the short wet season e.g. Pigeon peas, cassava, millet, sorghum, Katumani maize etc.
-These crops are grown in areas where rain is received for short period during the year. E.g. Makueni, Kajiado, Kitui etc.
