Problems of slow population growth :
1.Small number of people
-The number of people in an area shall be small leading to underutilization of facilities such as schools and hospitals.
2.Small labor force- the number of people who may be required to provide labor in various areas will be small.
3. Reduced market – where the population increase is low in an industrialized country , the population will be small to provide a good market for the goods.
4.Expenses supply of resources- a slow population growth may result to a sparsely
distributed population which make it expensive for the government to supply them with facilities, e.g water, hospitals etc.
5.Little revenue collection-when fewer people enter a population, they shall be a little revenue to be collected by the government inform of taxes.
6.Limited investment- In a slow growth of population, the number of people in the country shall be small which may discourage investors from setting up industries that may require a lot of unskilled labor.
