Drawing of proportional circles using circles with diameters proportional to the total values.
-The table below shows total sugar production by each of the four companies between 2001-2004

Steps:

-round off the totals to the nearest thousand to obtain round figures for ease of working
-Select a suitable scale for the diameter which will in turn be proportional to the total values.
We may use 1cm to represent 200,000 metric tonnes to give us the following diameters and radii.

-Use the radii figures to draw the different circles.
