Types of families:nuclear family.
This is a family consisting of a mother, a father and children. Nuclear families are monogamous. Christian marriage advocates that husbands marry one wife only. This is an example of a nuclear family. Polygamy is not accepted in a Christian marriage as it undermines the dignity of a woman. Most people in modern life prefer a nuclear family because:
-There is complete trust to one’s couple
-It brings oneness
- A man gives undivided attention to his wife and children.
-There is mutual love, peace and harmony at home.
-A couple is able to satisfy each other sexually.
In a nuclear family father is the head of the family but should not discriminate his wife for they are equal before God.
