Jesus told his disciples the parable of a judge who was in a certain town and he neither feared God nor respected people. In the same town there was a widow who kept coming to the Judge pleading for her rights. For a long time the Judge refused to act but because the woman was persistent he accepted to help her get her rights for he said that the woman would
keep coming and would wear him out. Jesus goes ahead to say that the lord will have mercy on those who keep on crying to him. This parable teaches about persistence in prayer.
