Answer Text:
One day Jesus was casting out a demon that was dumb from a man and people watched him as he cast out the demon. When the demon had gone out, the dumb man spoke. The people who were watching were amazed of what Jesus had done.
However, some doubted his power and accused him of using the power of Beelzebul. Beelzebul is the chief of demons. Other people wanted to trap Jesus and asked him to perform a miracle to prove he was using God’s power to drive out demons. In response Jesus used three arguments to counter their accusations.
i.Satan cannot fight against himself. If satan’s kingdom has groups fighting each other, it cannot last.
ii.He also reminded them their own people were driving out demons. He wondered what power their own exorcists were using.
iii.If he was using the power of Beelzebul then why were the other exorcists not facing similar accusation.
