a). Explain the observation made.

a).No effervescence/ No hydrogen gas was collected because the hydrogen gas that was produced was immediately oxidized to water by the nitric (V) acid which is an oxidizing agent.
b).- Used for meteorological research
since it’s less dense than air.
- Used as a fuel in rockets
-Use in the Harbor process for the manufacture of ammonia
- Use in oxy-hydrogen flame
